Roper style boots used to just come in one simple setup. Flat heel, short top, round toe.
While you still mostly see this same classic configuration; you also get a greater variety in leather choice, fancy stitching, and inlays.
We also see a little expansion into the squared off toe now and again. A squared off toe? can that really be called a Roper style then? I guess if you squint a little, maybe. do not get me started on so called roper style shoes.
